Wealth Management is not only making sure your investments are performing properly, it is making sure that the tax wrappers your investments are placed within match your chosen lifestyle and level of risk.
Designing a wealth management strategy should incorporate a review of taxation on an ongoing basis. It is important that a cohesive plan is adopted which ensures that all available allowances are utilised including independent taxation, personal allowances, and Capital Gains Tax allowance. Furthermore, “income” should where possible come from assets that have favourable tax treatment or alternatively where the receipt of regular payments can be managed to mitigate Income Tax liabilites.
Life Assurance, Critical Illness and Income Replacement are the foundation around which financial planning is based.
